DMAT Information:
DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team) is a group of professional and para-professional medical personnel (supported by a cadre of logistical and administrative staff) designed to provide medical care during a disaster or other event. NDMS (National Disaster Medical System) recruits personnel for specific vacancies, plans for training opportunities, and coordinates the deployment of the team. To supplement the standard DMATs, there are highly specialized DMATs that deal with specific medical conditions such as crushing injuries, burn, and mental health emergencies.
The Connecticut DMAT Team is recruiting for specific positions. For more information on Connecticut's Team contact: CT1 DMAT, 410 Capitol Ave, MS#13 DMAT, Hartford,CT 06106 ct1dmat@ct.gov or call (860)509-7939
