CTENA AWARDS
Each year, at its annual conference, the Connecticut Emergency Nurses Association recognizes nurses of distinction with awards to increase awareness of the variety of their achievements and contributions to the specialty of emergency nursing. These awards also celebrate the enduring contributions of these individuals and provide positive role models for the specialty of emergency nursing.

The 30th Anniversary of our ASCEND program was was held on Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 at the Rocky Hill Marriott.   A reception was held following the program in celebration of this milestone in its history.  
Many of the past presidents were able to attend the event & it was an honor to have many of the talented people present who helped shape and influence CTENA into the great organization it is today.

CTENA Annual Symposium  -  History

The first ASCEND conference was held in 1984 with the purpose to provide new knowledge and enhance the clinical and professional practice for emergency nurses.  This event is held in the fall and over the years has covered a variety of topics pertinent to our practice as well as a chance to network with colleagues.
